Going Places!

Convention is in like 4 weeks and I can hardly wait! Why can't it be this weekend...sigh...(patience is a virtue my friend)! The theme for our very first convention is Going Places, whoo hoo and yep...Fun Stampers Journey is surely going places!
Of course there will be trades, I will get to see all the new product being released...yipppeeee, I get to hear about new promotions, I get to see and meet new friends, and meet-up with a lot of my Bliss Roadies Team and oh boy sooooo much more!
I am also participating in an extra special trade where I have a secret pal... and I get to make them 2 cards and a special homemade gift! We were to post one of our cards on May 1st .. and this is the card I made!
This is one of the girls from our set called "Birthday Girls", she's so sweet and so fun to color, don't you love that bow in her hair!

A Little Distressing!

I love to distress, rip, ink-up, tear, fold and splash my paper! But for me distressing or the "grungy" look doesn't mean your card has to be ugly colors or masculine! Check out my card ot has a dainty little flower spring on it! I love our gingham cocoa powder ribbon, especially on this card... it makes it look a little country and it dresses it up.
The color combo is all FSJ: Butter Cream, Oatmeal Cookie & Cool Pool!  I think they are my favorite combo right now!

Leave a comment I'd love to hear what you think!

We re-created the cute little "Yay You" bag to hold candy that Richard shared on his Make-Live -Share blog  post on April 20! It was so adorable I decided we had to make it too! I met with some of my downline at Linda Magee's house at the end of April and I shared the project with them!
She has the coolest set-up in her basement! Large tables, perfect for scrapbooking, all kinds of tools to use, shelves of every color of Fun Stampers Journey Paper, and she has a big heart that welcomes everyone to join in!
Richard's Make-Live-Share program happens every Monday on his blog over on, where he invites everyone to re-create the project with whatever materials you have, then share it with someone and repost what you create along with a picture of you sharing it on his blog! It's a pretty fun way to get us giving away our projects and sharing them instead of holding onto everything .... a creative way to pay it forward!

Love an Easy Layout!

I am sure you have heard of our Kit of the Month which is pretty fantastic and amazing by the way... just sayin! You can view all the past ones here. Well on Sunday morning, I woke up with a plan for my weekly challenge ... for people to look at the any Kit of the Month's cards... CASE one and post it on my FB challenge page. Turns out that I liked this lay out so well.... I made two different ones!

The "hello sunshine" card is from the April KOTM, which you can still purchase up to April 30th, at 9 pm California time! Then it's time for May's Kit of the Month to shine! (And guess what Corey... April showers do bring May flowers!)

I am pretty happy with the Sympathy card, I was able to use my favorite color, Cool Pool and the Kit of the Month stamp from December. The feathers are from a gorgeous set called Celebrate Tomorrow ( SS-0151), which ironically became available for purchase... just this month! I love it when a plan comes together. I would have been so sad to find out you couldn't even purchase the Feather set yet! That's another thing that is so cool about the KOTM, it's not for sale to the general public for like 3 months after it's featured as the Kit of Month! And in case you are wondering, you do receive a full stamp set every month in the KOTM! I have heard about the little stamp sets sent out in other companies Kits,  but ours is deeply etched, red rubber, a whole complete set ...that you are going to want! Here's what I am talking about, the pic below is Dec 2014's set!
Thanks for checking these out and please feel free to play along and post your own layout on my FB challenge page!

I hosted a trade on my One Journey Coaches FB page recently and it was so much fun to get these all in the mail! A twinchie is a 2x2 card or more like an embellisment or little pieces of art! The theme was spring and Journey Coaches from all over the US traded... which is pretty cool! It's so fun to see Fun Stampers Journey grow and see Coaches sprout up all over!
These two by themselves are the ones I made with the same stamp set ... Sentimental Prints! Leave me a comment and tell me which one's your favorite!
