Bliss Roadies Recent Meeting!

Created by Pam DeMarco
I love bring part of a crafting group! It challenges me to put my best work out there, because I know everyone's going to see it, so it better be good! I started a group called BLiss Roadies... we are on the road with Fun Stampers Journey, following our creative bliss! Everyone that is part of my group is in my downline and I am so blessed to have them.
The cool thing about our monthly meetings besides seeing everyone in real life, is seeing their trades! This month we had a Thank-you theme for our Journey Hugs. This was my first downline meeting where I hosted a trade so Whoo hoo! was I excited to see what everyone made.

Mojo on a Saturday!

I love creating for Monday Mojo, it's  a lot of fun thinking up my plan for the sketch they lay out! What's even more fun is getting to use new stamps that have just been released! Whoo hoo ... I love the new stamps Richard, CEO of Journey Blooms has designed. The two stamp sets are Bird Tweet and Banner Party!
Banner Party worked out being perfect for this Mojo sketch! Banners are so happening on the internet! I like that I can add stripes and polka dots to mine! Here's the sketch by Monday Mojo, I would love to see your take on it!
Now sometimes people have a hard time with a silhouette stamp set like Bird Tweet when they see it. I used to be one of those people... but now I get it! Think of them as stamps you can layer by using a lighter color on the bottom and a darker color on top, like the tweet bubble ... stamped in Morning Mist and the words on top stamped in Huckleberry Fusion.

Would love to know what you think... so please feel free to post a comment on here!

Bees & a Compass

I joined a craft group on Facebook that's pretty fun. The admin of the group, Robin asked for people to post a challenge each week fir the whole group to participate in. This week was my turn, and my challenge was to create an ATC that somehow involved a bee and a compass! I can't wait to see what people come up with!

Here's an ATC created by Faith Chesney Griffin... take a look at her bee... it's a pirate bee!
This darling Tag was created by Jm Monroe, really pretty!
Love how easy the challenge process was!  I want to do more!

Amazing Back Ground Stamps

Fun Stampers Journey has put out some pretty amazing back ground stamps! You can see the whole collection here. I love back ground stamps for my art journal, cards and scrapbook pages.
What I have noticed at shows is people can be intimidated by a back ground stamp because they are so large! They aren't sure how to use them or how to get them inked up.
Anytime you have a large rubber surface whether it's a back ground stamp or a stamp with a lot of flat rubber surface, the easiest way to ensure you get it covered with ink is to lay the stamp face up on the table and apply your ink pad directly to the surface. Tap the ink pad on the stamp, you can even put your muscle into, you won't hurt anything, until you can see the stamp is inked up.  Try not to rub the stamp with the ink pad, if you do your image will have a blurred look and/or you will see swipe marks on your image.
After inking up the stamp you can just lay your card stock on top of the stamp! Easy peasy ... the next trick is to lay scrap paper over your card stock so you don't get the ink all over your fingers as you smooth the paper over the stamp and the image will be on your card stock beautifully!

I will post what I made with this lovely stamp... once I have traded my Journey Hug! The card stock is FSJ's and it's oatmeal stamped with Coffee Bean ink... our true fusion hybrid ink... 42 luscious colors!

Most Awesome Event Ever!!!

WOW... I was able to attend Journeylicious this weekend with Fun Stampers Journey ... my family & friends!!! I have worked a lot of events in my life and this one topped them all. It was sooooooo much fun!!! We stamped, we danced, we ate, we danced, we laughed, we danced... it was incredible for sure! I am blessed to be part of an amazing company ... that's for sure!
The project above was my favorite one of the five we created at the event! I love mixed media and this fits right in there for me! The stamp set is Beauty Wings... it should be up in the store this week! What's cool is 50% of the proceeds go to Charity Wings.
Here's a picture of one of our dances from the event!

We had special guests attend, Jeff and Stacey Caron flew in from Phoenix ... they are the President and founder of Spellbinders. Is that cool or what!? The other lady in the picture is my good friend April... she is one of our High Desert Girls!
This is a picture of Jackie... she received a Grand Caliber from Jeff, of Spellbinders... because it was her birthday! WOW... was that ever cool!
So many amazing things happened at this event! This was the first time FSJ went public with the Journey Coach opportunity... pretty wild... and ten people signed up right then and there, Whoo hoo with more than 10 more saying they are planning to soon! So exciting!
Next was the release of our first catalog... WOW!!!.... was that way cool to be part of history in the making! In the picture below, Richard Garay, our CEO, is proudly holding a the new catalog! This was the just the first run, just enough for all the attendees. The next run will be in May... email me if you want your own!
Below is a pic of Richard, Gabby and his seven directs... yes I am one of them! Whoo hoo... I am so blessed and thrilled!
