I am thinking Pink!

I like to use non-traditional colors for Christmas! I usually make some kind of pink one and here is this years! Silver embossing and an embossing folder from SU give it some pizazz don't you think? I used the new in-color Melon Mambo, Stampset: Delightful Decorations and the way cool ornament punch out of the Holiday Mini. If I didn't mail it to you, you can download one here. If you want to receive mailings in the future... for instance the up coming Occasions Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration Brochure which will be sent out in December, then email me your address! rosecurtis@mac.com

My Really Late monday Mojo!

Yikes... the deadline is fast approaching for last weeks Monday Mojo and well.... not sure about this card at all! I think I used a circle way toooo big for the card or for the layout. I decided to post it anyway lol! Thankfully they will have another sketch out for me to make tomorrow!

Stuff I used!
Card Stock: SU Old Olive, Real Red, Whisper White & Gable Green
Ribbon: Ribbon Striped Grosgrain Real Red
Stampset: Season Of Joy
Ink: Old Olive Craft & Classic, Real Red
Other: Crystal Effects, Glimmer Paint mixed with rubbing alcohol!

Really Simple Christmas Card!

I love the new ornament punch! Works perfectly with our Delightful Decorations stamp set, or you can easily use Stampin UP's designer paper! For this card I drew on the cord with a sharpie because I was at school...and I forgot to bring my silver cord! Both ideas work, depending on what supplies you have and how much time you have!

My Blog Banner

Stampin' Up! released My Digital Studio on Sept 1st., for everyone... and it is sooooo much fun! I used it to create my blog banner! I am thinking there are tons of ways to use it besides scrapbooking or mass quantities of cards or invitations! Think about any kind of advertisement, business cards, post cards, business flyers, coupons, calendars, family or business newsletters. Basically anything you want to look  pretty & professional to send or give out. See more about the downloads and My Digital Studio here. The ribbons and buttons you can instantly download to use or they are part of the digital software too! Now you too can have those perfectly tied bows!

Let me know what you think about this banner!

Technique Class @ Gabby's House!

Yahoooooo we had so much fun! We made bears of course....they are so irresistible! Then we made a Thanksgiving card, learning about distressing and layers! I brought the first one over and then changed it on them... I wanted to have more depth under the leaf! In the above pic is Raquel and her daughter Maria creating their Thanksgiving card.

Here is a picture of our Lovely Hostess Gabby, whipping up some snacks and salad for us in the kitchen! I had to take a picture because like me you will rarely find her in the kitchen!

So here are the two versions of our Thanksgiving card using the beautiful Autumn Splendor set and the Autumn Meadows Designer Series Paper ...  which is so yummy!

I like both of them but I prefer the bottom one!
And lastly the big hit was learning to create snow using a versamark pen and inkpad! You ink up where you want snow using the versamark ink, cover area with clear embossing powder, melt it with the heat gun and then when it has cooled down you brayer over the whole picture with your sky color and wala! Your snow appears! I use the versamark pad to cover the bottom, pad directly to paper, then I go over the top lines with the Versamark pen so I can make it bumpy or hilly because snow isn't usually flat! I used the pen to create the snow on the branches too!

Stampset used: Season of Friendship... good for all year around, comes with flower, heart, snowflake and bird!
